TNT run on Minecraft

I found a mini game server where you can play different mini games and for the different games you can buy perks with in game coins. My favorite part about this server is the TNT games. There are 3 games playable by non VIPs and they are wizard, bow spleef, and TNT run. My favorite is TNT run because you have to have really good parkour skills to win. I have won twice. They have 3 different TNT run maps and 2 wizard maps and 1 bow spleef map.
 Wizard is where you chose your wizard (fire,Kennetic,or ice) the fire wizard shoots fire balls the Kennetic (sorry if I spelled it wrong) wizard has a short range rail gun, the ice wizard makes you slow. I like this because it is a really fun mini game that is short and sweet and the map is destructive. Fire balls can destroy parts of a building making blocks fly through the air.
TNT run is where you run around and where you step the ground disappears. This means you have to constantly keep moving. Near the end of the match you have to constantly jump just to get to another block of gravel and TNT. I like this because I am good at it.
Bow spleef is where you have a bow and you have to try to get all 23 other people to fall out of the map. This server has many other mini games not just TNT games but this is my favorite. The server's website is link.

Exams are over!!!!

Exams ended on Wednesday sorry I didn't post till now. I got out of school on Thursday so I will now have more time to post.
I just finished reading Across the Universe. This book is about a Huge space ship that is going to another planet because the people on Earth feared for a apocalypse. 100 people were frozen in chambers so that in 300 years they would be able to help the people on the ship. One person is 16 and is non-essential. She is not needed and was put there because her parents asked for her. She is mysteriously awakened by a man who meant to kill her.When she wakes up she is taken by the doctor and this boy. She is entering a whole another world.

In minecraft I am trying to build this. This is a image of a walker of sorts from one of my favorite books. I have completed the front half of one foot. It is a very hard build and I can't wait for it to be done.

Creation NATION

Creation Nation is an awesome server from what I hear. This server is a creative world server. If you don't like creative you can go on survival mode but there are no resources. From what I see in the pictures it is a flat plain map. On the site they have a high resolution image of the map. This server looks awesome and probably is awesome. I can't wait to play on it. I also have heard rumors that after 2 hours of total playing time you get world edit.

chicken that inspired me

Investopedia is a stock market encyclopedia. It also has a stock market simulator. I joined this because I am interested in the stock market. It is fun in a way that I just gained 17 dollars on say Microsoft. I sadly am not home when the market is open usually so I have to order after hours and receive when the market opens. Today Disney gained .10% from when they opened, BUT I bought it at $62.01 IT CLOSED at 62.00 I just lost 25 cents since I owned 25 shares. That is kind of how it works.
Also this
weekend I plan on making another skin. This skin is going to have a chicken on the back of a hoodie or shirt. I was inspired by a Google image of a minecraft chicken. I will post pictures when that is done.As well minecraft 1.6 will becoming out some time this May.

The other day I was reading about minecraft 1.6 the update. It has not updated but one rumor is confirmed NO MORE REDSTONE. There will be some new mobs one being a horse. Mojang is actually working with the creators of mo-creatures to do this. Some people want there to be more water animals in the water biomes since that really does need a update. I also think they need to add squirrels and make cows ride able with the saddle. That would be fun riding a cow. Adding corn would be cool too. If they add sharks and dolphins you should be able to ride them as well with a saddle for faster traveling. Also make the saddle craft able. This is what might be in it and what I want to be in it.

Slice of Life: Hungry Games

Today I watched Hank,Emily and Micheal play the Hungry Games!! In this they play a game that requires them to catch little fishes with a fishing pole. If they win they eat a yummy brownie if they lose they eat a gross brownie. The gross brownies can have stuff from spam to caviar. The good brownies have good tasty treats in them. I don't know what stuff they have in them because they did not comment on the good brownies.
The lord of ages game is awesome I have played it for two days now. In the beginning (where I am now) all you do for quests is easy things like upgrade this or build that. You can also attack things. If you attack the sub volcanic furnace you can watch the action.If you send out your men to attack some thing they either come back with a war report or die in the battle. NOTE: Do not attack the furnace without having archers or more than 10 pike men.I did that and lost all my soldiers. Pike men will be , unless you have a lot of them, mowed down by the artillery and pike men of the furnace. With archers you will be able to attack from a distance this will help you. Also I suggest getting the transporters to carry the men's supplies.
In Minecraft I played more of the battle for Conwy castle. It is fun and suggest you join it. It is almost always full in the afternoon.I played minecraft while when ever I died checked on my Lord of Ages place. A little weird I know but the things take forever to build on Lord of Ages.

Slice of Life: Minecraft Battle For Conway Castle

This Slice is about Minecraft THE BATTLE FOR CONWAY CASTLE. There are about 4-5 maps were you will battle with the other team. The maps are: Conway, another Castle, Mines of Moria, and a Island with Pirates. My favorite is either Mines of Moria or the other castle.  All of these maps were actually made by the owner of the server Rockslides.The Mines of Moria are fun because there are so many places a archer can get to and shoot the unknowing team underneath. Also if your in that spot there are no torches so it is hard to see you. Also on the mines there is this part with these huge pillars that get smaller as they go up. it is really fun to climb as high as possible on those pillars and fire down. I beat my 5 killstreak record up there. My stats are not the best I have like 43 points. I also am a archer so when I see a swordsman I run away fast. I do this because even though four arrows take down a swordsmen they are dangerous when near by. They will purposely chase 2 archers than chase 1 other swordsmen just to get the kills. When you are a archer you have 48 arrows and a power 1 bow. It takes 3 fully charged hits to kill another archer. As a archer you don't get many kills you really only weaken the enemy while the swordsmen and spears men whack away at them. Slice of Life: The Redstone Minecraft Update

Today I will talk about something I have not even looked played or seen. The minecraft redstone update.In this update a ton of things have been added. The trap chest has been added. The TNT cart also is here. Redstone block has been added as well. The weighted pressure plate.Quartz and quartz block were also added. The TNT cart is kind of fun to play with. If you make it go really fast the explosion will be bigger. If it falls off a cliff it will explode. When running into a block it will explode. do not put 2 TNT carts one right in front of the other they will explode on contact with each other. Other wise have fun with this amazing update.

Slice of LIfe: Clay Soldiers Mod for Minecraft

Yesterday after I wrote my slice I decided to download a mod. I ended up downloading or installing 4-5 things. I first downloaded WinRAR. Then I downloaded Minecraft Forge. After Forge I downloaded the mod. The mod made you download 2 things. The mod lets you craft tiny little clay soldiers. To download the mod here is the link. I have not found out all the crafting recipes or all the things you can do to the soldiers. If you want to have a colorful army you will fail. Different color soldiers will attack each other. You can declare a king for a army by giving a soldier a golden nugget. They can also build bases if you give them enough room. There are also miniature animals they can ride. They can ride: horses, geckos, turtles, and bunnies. All the animals have to be crafted.

On this Harry Potter server you can cast spells, buy spells, join the dark mark, or join Hufflepuff like me. This server has amazing maps of London and of Hogwarts. I have not finished traveling the halls yet. They add one spell a week, and the spells use red stone.On the forums you will see one that says texture pack.Do not download the server texture pack it is the default texture pack.Go to that thread and go to the link.If you do not know how to download a texture pack look it up because I barely know how as well. After you have downloaded it you can come on ( you don't have to download it, it just makes the world look better).Explore Hogwarts find secret tunnels do awesome parkour challenges, have spleef duels, and have a ton of fun.If you see someone with the user name squirrel440 that is me.

Lots of Books and Crafting

Hello my fellow bloggers today I will be talking about the new Minecraft update and 3 of the books I have recently bought and read.

First for the Books

Behemoth

 

The first book I read was Behemoth.The site that link leads to is actually his blog for the series since it starts with Leviathan. In the story the Leviathan flies to the Ottoman empire to deliver a wee beastie to them as a peace offering. During the visit Alexander and his men escape the ship at night.They then join some revolutionists. Deryn Sharp is a girl who is disguised as a boy.She is disguised so that she can fly.She has changed her name to Dylan Sharp and is a midshipman on the Leviathan.She is a sent on a secret mission to damage some kracken nets that guard the ports of the town.Her three men are found one is killed.She completed her mission and goes to return to her men.She gets away and decides to find and help Alexander.

Goliath

 

In Goliath Alek finds out that Deryn is Deryn not Dylan and is a girl (back then girls were not aloud to serve which is why she dressed like a boy).Alek is now trying to not go near Deryn but when they get attacked by some germans they are forced to meet.Alek doesn't mind at all now that he knows.They have become good friends.(can't say more without giving story away.)

The Always War is about how two computers or AI (artificial intelligence) worked a plan to make it seemed like they were fighting a war.The war zone had been evacuated 70 years earlier.The humans thought the other side was there so the used drones to bomb it.The bombs were fake and defective though.Then three kids one military pilot, a girl who had lost her parents, and a common girl who read old books.Find out what happens when the pilot buys a old airplane and flies with two unknown passengers to the war zone.

 

Minecraft 1.4.6

 

In 1.4.6 we got fireworks and some bug fixes.The fireworks are awesome I have messed with them on creative.I kind of wish I had the TMI (to many items) mod so I didn't have to craft them though.There is a creeper face, a large ball, a smaller ball, and scatter.It is best to use them at night.They look awesome with bright colors.

Minecraft style

If you have not herd the (not so) new parody of Gangam style it is awesome.You would have to see the one made by Tryhard Ninga, and Captain Sparkles.The animation of it is really good and DFTBA.

Minewars texturepack for Minecraft

The other day I downloaded one of the best texture packs ever.The MineWars texture pack changes almost everything.It changes bows to laser guns, wolfs to flame wolfs,pigs to ewoks,zombie pigmen to sith lords,zombies to tuskan raiders, skeletons to storm troopers,and almost all the blocks.

If you download a map it is even better.It is still good on a regular randomly generated map though too.

Minecraft 1.4

I found out today (most likely) that the update 1.4 for minecraft will come out Thursday Oct. 25,2012.I my self can not wait in it there will be witches, bats, wither skeleton,wither boss, and much, much more.
