The Boy Who Dared is about a boy who dared to stand up to the Nazis during World War II. Helmuth, the "boy", was at first a regular German boy wanting to protect the Fatherland. Eventually he found out about the lies the German radio station was saying about the war. When his older brother came back from the war for a break period he brought a short wave radio. Using this radio he was able to tune into the BBC radio station. By doing this he is breaking the radio law. To find out more about the book, read it.
